Netgear D6200 Wireless Router Review

Conclusion

Well I had lots of fun testing this device, not least because I need a new router of my own so it was good to see just what this piece of hardware could do.

The design of the router means that whilst large, means to me at least it looks slightly unassuming, even despite the glowing Netgear logo and status lights. To others, including a few friends it looks like a bit of an eyesore.

Setup was easy as could be for use as a standalone router, and the setup for ADSL broadband users is just as simple meaning you could be on the net within a few minutes of actually plugging the device in. The configuration menus themselves are also responsive and expansive.

Performance was good, and I would think that it would easily be able to facilitate most home users’ requirements.

All in all a good piece of hardware from Netgear, and one I can happily recommend.
