Ducky Secret Gaming Mouse Review
Conclusion
Having used this mouse as both a daily driver and for gaming, I have been very impressed. The Ducky Secret is not going to win any beauty awards with its utilitarian looks, but the design is fairly understated and I like it a lot.
While I didn’t like Ducky keeping lighting options firmware based with the Year of the Goat keyboard I reviewed a short while ago. The choice to offer everything on the mouse feels more intuitive and by comparison less complex. It’s a tad annoying not having software to remap the thumb buttons direct from Ducky but a few pieces of software (such as X-Mouse) can do it for you anyway.
The build of the Ducky Secret continues the high standard set by other Ducky products I have reviewed. With a really solid feel and robust finish.
At a quick check the Ducky Secret is available for around £59.98, this means it does come in at the pricier side of things and for some it’s possibly too expensive. For me everything about this mouse just seems to come together, making it well worth the money.
As I finish, I am just going to mention that I went out and bought this mouse with my money and full disclosure that I am also tangentially related to how Ducky came to be initially stocked in the UK. So take that as you will.
With that I am happy to award the Ducky Secret a Dave Plays Recommended Award.
