HyperX Cloud II (2) – Review

Conclusion

I really enjoyed my time with the HyperX Cloud 2 headset. The build quality of them is really impressive and they feel like they will survive even most demanding user.

The USB 7.1 in-line control is a nice addition, especially as it adds volume and mic controls to the headset itself.

I would’ve liked a 3.5mm splitter to have been included for those that didn’t want to use the 7.1 sound card. This and a slightly longer main cable would give the option of using it and the mic on other high-end sound cards.

The sound quality of the headset is excellent, and for the price (£65) it really is a bargain.

After using it for a while now I have to say that I have been massively impressed with what Kingston have managed to put together especially at such a price and you would struggle to find anything that can compete.

I am happy to award the Hyper X Cloud 2 gaming headset a Gold Award!
