Lexar JumpDrive Secure 64GB – Review

A Closer Look

You would think there isn’t much that could be done with a USB Flash Drive, but one of the main draws of the M10 Secure and it’s given away in the name is the Secure aspect of the drive.

The Drive 2

Security is something oft overlooked by some people. Flash Drives are seen as something of a expendable item. If you lose one it’s not really thought as a great loss and you normally just get a new one with not a second thought really given to the data that was once yours.

Lexar solve that and provide the JumpDrive M10 secure with a piece of software called EncryptStick Lite which enables you to, as the name suggests, encrypt files and folders on the drive.

The Drive

Another simple but effective addition is the included E-Ink capacity indicator on the front of the drive, which shows a rough percentage of how full the drive is. Allowing you to see at a quick glance if you can fit anything else on there.

The JumpDrive M10 also features a retractable cap, making it almost impossible to lose without damaging the drive in some way.
