Cooler Master Ergostand III (3) – Review

A Closer Look

 BoxFront  BoxRear

It is much like Cooler Master to not go crazy with the art or design of the packaging and the Ergostand III’s box doesn’t break this mould. With a nice and simple white box which features a large image of the Ergostand III on the front.

Full Stand

The Ergostand III is a nice looking item, able to handle laptops all the way up to 17″ in size.

Grill Fan

The mesh you can see is removeable and shows the huge 230mm cooling fan Cooler Master have fitted.

Switch

Up in the top left is a dial that clicks on to control this fan, which allows you a massive amount of control over the speed the fan rotates.

CableRoute

Just below this is a little area which is designed for cable routing.

Legs CloseUp

Those little things down in the bottom? They are catches which adjust to help hold your device in place on the steeper gradients.

Ports

Hidden away on the top is a four port USB hub and the power/connection ports for the ERGOSTAND III itself.

Stand

The ERGOSTAND III has six levels of height adjustment to help you adjust the positioning.

Base

Underneath are several large and wisely placed rubber grips, which help to prevent the ERGOSTAND III from moving once a laptop is seated.
