Insomnia 58 – Just over a week away

I am lucky enough to be heading on down to Insomnia 58. This years summer event looks as jam packed as ever, with a huge number of events and companies on display over the extended weekend.

The big man Boonana J of Team Banana has invited me down, as he will be once again showing off his modding talents with a modified item on display at Thermaltake stand.

The summer event is generally the bigger of the three held by Multiplay and the amount of vendors alongside Thermaltake just go to show how big the event has got over the years. Razer, Ducky, GAME, MSI and many more will be on site with the latest and greatest hardware and games they have to offer.

Of course the usual who’s who of Youtube celebrities and Twitch streamers will be on the main stages over the course of the show playing games and on their off time will hang around the various stands, I’m sure Syndicate will of course make his usual appearance on the Razer gaming bus. Whilst Asus sponsored streamers make the stand their home over the weekend.

CCL Computers will be back to exhibit after a short time away from Insomnia, Once one of the longest serving sponsors of the event it will be nice to see some old faces back at the show.

Of course the World Famous Pub Quiz is a must for any attendee, though i’m not sure that me and Mr. Boonana J will be able to make a pizza box tower as big as the last time…

Once you split off from the main event, there are also a number of gaming tournaments scheduled. Including an Overwatch tournament amongst the staple of Counter Strike, League of Legends and Team Fortress 2.

I can’t say i’m not getting more and more hyped for the event, but I can say that the journey down will be a fun experience….I hope to see some of you there!
