CM Storm Mizar Gaming Mouse Review
Conclusion
The Cooler Master Mizar has been a pleasure to use over these past few weeks. It’s more compact than my normal day to day MX518 but the ergonomic shape was exceptionally comfortable over long periods of gaming.
In particular I liked the textured grips on the rest areas, as surprisingly they were actually grippy and didn’t become slippery like other mice I have used.
The main buttons are nice and clicky and I had no issues with the placement of the DPI buttons behind the scroll wheel. If I were being picky these and the side buttons were not as consistent as the Left and Right mouse click and felt a tad springy.
The software package is comprehensive enough to offer more than enough for most people. If you have enough macros to fill more than four profiles it can be a bit awkward to change them over, but it was never really a problem for me.
The lighting options are a nice touch, though the breathing mode having a noticeable step was a tad annoying.
The CM Storm Mizar is available currently for around £36 and to be honest for that sort of money it is a solid enough purchase. The fact it comes with a 2-year warranty as well ensures that if anything were to go wrong Cooler Master have your back covered.
I am happy to give it a DavePlays recommended award.
