Attitude One Vintorez – Gaming Mouse Review
The Software
Attitude One provide software on a CD which allows you to remap the buttons on the Vintorez, you can also download this software directly from their site. The version I downloaded, appeared to not need installing either allowing you to make changes by running the app and then simply exiting.
You can save any changes to a profile, with the correct button mapping the five profiles can be cycled through and they can be linked to a specific executable, meaning the correct profile can be implemented if the driver sees that the linked app is running.
Under the advanced settings, you have the option of changing the polling rate of the mouse, as well as the sensitivity options.
You can also make changes to the way the lighting works, such as being able to select between breathing mode and fully lit, and also being able to turn the lighting off – the scroll wheel is not included in this option however.
While it does fit the description of “Customisable Lighting” it’s a bit of a cop out that you can’t select a colour or a range to choose between.
The third and final page of the software allows you to make changes to the Windows settings, including scroll speed and double click speed.
The macro manager as its name suggests is where you can record, edit, and then save your macros. If you look to record your own input you can let the software automatically record the actual delays between your key presses or edit them to make them quicker. To do so you just right click the delay and edit the time.
Whilst not the most extensive piece of software I have had the pleasure of using, the Vintorez is well catered for, and has a very competent feature set.
