EGX 2015 – I will be there!
I suppose I should mention that I will be attending (barring any major issues) EGX 2015 down in the midst of Middle-England, aka Birmingham.
It is a rather large gaming event not to dissimilar from the Play Expo (which I will also be attending) however it focuses primarily on the latest and greatest games, with an indie flair. Of course like other gaming events there will be a big mix of stuff that is on.
More Yogscast members will be appearing, signing merchandise – including horrendously expensive foam pickaxes and swords. Of course a CosPlay masquerade will be occurring for the creative types among you. For the game hunters there will be a number of retailers making an appearance selling merchandise and imported sweets 😀
For the classic gamers among us, there will also be a retro game area where you can sit down relax and rage at some of the insane RNG in games of old. With pixel perfect jumps and general nastiness par for the course.
I haven’t really lined up anything for the day so when I arrive, camera in hand, I will generally be making a nuisance wherever there is something interesting happening.
