Another day, another delay..will I ever get a Retron 5?
Well another day has passed and I have received yet another email regarding my pre-order status for the fabled Retron 5.
It’s not good news as well, in fact it’s almost coming to a years anniversary for myself and many included since we ordered it.
Funstock.co.uk the people who are seemingly trying there best to get the item into the UK, have sent yet another email regarding the delay. This time stating that Hyperkin, are experiencing issues with getting a European Conformity mark for the machine. All in all they are saying that the previously mentioned date of September is looking even more unlikely.
Hyperkin still don’t have a CE mark for the device so September is sounding increasingly unlikely. We have assurances that our stock is reserved and once the CE is granted it will be on its way to us. It’s not the news we wanted to give you, but it’s the truth and that’s all we have at this stage.
Hopefully Hyperkin and Funstock can pull their collective fingers out, and get this sorted sharpish. It’s getting to the point where I wonder if I have wasted my £90 and if the fabled machine will ever land on these shores -well besides the test units Funstock already have….
