Logitech G610 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Final thoughts.

As I slowly package the Orion up (before realising I still need some more pictures) and get out my daily driver to finish typing this review. I remain impressed at the amount of choice available to those that want a mechanical gaming keyboard.

The Logitech G610 Orion is a good keyboard but not without some flaws some mentioned above in the review itself. I noticed one bug when setting the lighting mode to reactive (but having the light go out instead of on when pressed) that the indicator lights would not function. This meant that the Caps Lock, Num Lock and Scroll Lock would stay unlit even when operated this frequently became a bit of an annoyance.

The lack of an on-board way to control the lighting mode is a missed point, while I know I slated the Ducky Year of the Goat model for not having a software package, the fact that most of the modes seem to be pretty simple configurations means the lack of an on board option may limit people that do not want to install even more software onto their machines.

The Logitech Orion G610 otherwise is a solid, basic keyboard with a good amount of configurability when you install the software.

It is available for £104.99 from a number of retailers, which means it does face a lot of competition, though the use of official Cherry MX switches gives it an edge on most other brands in this price range.

I am happy to award it the DavePlays Bronze award!
