Optoma launch 4K UHD projector
Optoma have launched what they call “the first affordable 4K UHD projector” which is capable of throwing the full 8.3M pixels 4K needs.
The Optoma UHD550X uses the latest Texas Instruments’ XPR technology to squeeze a higher output from the 4M pixel chip. With a lot of engineering behind the whole process to make sure that the 4K signal is not degraded.
Joe Ahmed, Head of Marketing at Optoma EMEA, said: “We are incredibly excited to launch our much anticipated first 4K UHD HDR compatible home entertainment projector. The advanced DLP single-chip design from Texas Instruments ensures absolute image integrity delivering over 8 million pixels to screen. Without doubt the 4K UHD experience requires the biggest of images, which the new projector delivers at an affordable price to home users.”
The UHD550X comes equipped with Optoma’s Amazing Colour technology. This feature includes an enhanced colour wheel with multiple modes to choose from, allowing you to select the best setting for content you choose to watch.
